The Where Have You Been? podcast is all about the guest and their travel experiences. For those of us that love travel, we also love to talk about our experiences and hear those of others. No podcast I’ve found has simply been a casual conversation about where we’ve been and where we’re going - and what’s happened in-between. This podcast fills that void. Today we get some incredible stories with my friend Renato. Renato was born in Lima, Peru and even just his story of why his family moved to the states is incredible. We barely scratch the surface on where Renato has been...but get ready to hear about what happens when you accidentally end up in the geisha district, communicating through karaoke, a near hi-jacking...and some other really fantastic and touching stories. We spoke for so long I had to split it into two parts. In this episode we talk a lot about how he developed his love for travel, and what travelling means to him. We touch on many places in North America in this episode. Welcome to the Where Have You Been? Podcast. My name is Bill Roehm. I've been traveling since I was a young child, but the "travel bug" really hit me in 2016 when I first traveled abroad. Since then, I've been in many places all over the world. In this introduction I wanted to introduce myself, and also explain my intention for the podcast - and what sets this apart from the 1000s of "travel pods" that exist already. I've searched all over the web and have found similar ideas...similar concepts...but nothing quite like this. I'm not saying it doesn't exist - but I haven't seen it. Either way, I am passionate about sharing the stories of others, and this is the best way I know how to do it.
